Anselmo Artime Fernández Shipyards
The Anselmo Artime Fernández Shipyards are one of the most representative examples of Luanco’s maritime and industrial heritage. The complex consists of three masonry-built workshops with gabled roofs, each designed for different stages of the process of building and repairing wooden boats.
In addition to the workshops, the site still has a dry dock for ship repairs and a slipway that allowed boats to be brought in from the sea to the facilities. These structures reflect the importance of traditional shipbuilding to the local economy.
