Menéndez Pola Palace. Palace and Dovecote

The Menéndez Pola Palace is one of Luanco’s most iconic historic sites. Located next to the parish church, the complex consists of the main palace, a large estate with fruit trees, and various outbuildings, including a dovecote, a caretaker’s house, a fountain, a washhouse, and several sheds.

The main building, in the Baroque style, features a rectangular floor plan organized around a square central courtyard and a façade flanked by two towers. Inside, it preserves wooden corridors, galleries, and stone staircases, while the dovecote and the other outbuildings reflect the importance of the agricultural and domestic activities associated with the property.
