Alzada Cowboys Trail

A walking route following in the footsteps of the transhumant herders. The itinerary begins at the Church of Verdicio (Gozón) and ends in Biedes (Las Regueras), covering a distance of approximately 35 kilometers. The route revives ancient trails linked to the transhumance of the “vaqueros de alzada” and highlights the cultural heritage associated with this tradition.
