Summer Carnival

Every August 14, the streets of Luanco are transformed to host one of the most unique and well-attended events of the Asturian summer: the Summer Carnival. What began as a local celebration has become a must-attend event for thousands of people who choose this fishing village to enjoy a day filled with costumes, music, and fun.

Throughout the day, locals and visitors fill the town center with color through unique costumes and creative displays, in a festive atmosphere that combines family-friendly activities, costume contests, and street entertainment. As the day goes on, Luanco transforms into a huge open-air stage where music, joy, and camaraderie take center stage.
