By Car: Your Freedom, Step by Step
If you’re traveling at your own pace, Gozón is perfectly connected.
From Oviedo/Avilés: Take the A-66 and look for the exit toward Tabaza. From there, the AS-110 will take you straight to the heart of Luanco.
From Gijón: Enjoy the drive along the AS-239, a road that gives you a taste of the beauty of our coastline right from the start.
Local Tip (Parking): Luanco is a town best explored on foot. We recommend the free parking lot at the end of Luanco Beach or the “white zone” near the bus station. Your car can rest while you enjoy yourself!
By Bus: Let yourself go
The most sustainable and laid-back option. Gozón has regular connections to the major cities in Asturias.
ALSA Buses: There are daily, very frequent services from Gijón and Avilés. You’ll be here in just 25–30 minutes.
The Station: The main bus stop is in downtown Luanco, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and the Maritime Museum. Check the updated schedules on the ALSA website or ask us!

If you prefer to travel by train, Gozón is easily accessible via connections to the Principality’s major cities.
Major stations: The nearest stations are Gijón and Avilés. Both are served by long-distance trains (Alvia and AVE) from Madrid and other major cities.
Final connection: Once you arrive at the station, you’ll find bus stops (ALSA) just a few meters away that will take you directly to Luanco in about 20–30 minutes. There is also a taxi service right outside the station.
Commuter Trains: If you’re already in Asturias, the commuter train lines run frequently to Avilés or Gijón, making it easy to visit our municipality at any time of day.
By Plane: Land in Paradise
For those visiting us from farther away, Asturias Airport (OVD) is the fastest and most convenient way to get here.
Ideal distance: We are located just 25 kilometers from the airport. In less than 30 minutes by car, you’ll be looking out at the sea.
How to get there from the terminal:
Rental car: The major rental companies operate right at the airport; it’s the perfect option if you want to explore Gozo with complete freedom.
