ACTIVITY A02.Ac1.— Demolition of the Mofosa wastewater treatment plant, Luanco
The coastal trail serves as the backbone of sustainable mobility and a premier tourist attraction in the Cabo Peñas region. To ensure it achieves the landscape and environmental quality it deserves, it is necessary to restore the natural areas that have been altered for various reasons.
On the outskirts of Luanco, in La Mofosa, there is an old wastewater treatment plant, along with its auxiliary structures, which negatively impacts the landscape (in addition to occupying coastal space that currently serves no purpose); its demolition is necessary to restore the area to its natural state.
